In Home Training-In home lessons always begin with a conversation to determine what your needs and goals are.  Our goal is to provide you with the answers to your particular dilemmas without over loading you and your pup with things you don’t need.   Our programs are customized, no request is too big or too small.  We don’t push cookie cutter programs, we design a program just for you and your dog.  One of the benefits of having a trainer with years of experience is that she has trained so many dogs, she has a technique that will work for yours.  We specialize in creating a dog that is happy to work for you.

Boarding school- For busy families or just to speed up the training process, we offer boarding school programs which can cover everything from housebreaking and puppy foundation skills through advanced obedience, therapy dog preparation, service dogs skills and home guardian programs.  Programs are customized to fit the needs of your family.  They can be combined with in home lessons and classes and arranged around your travel schedule.  Our programs are very flexible and our goal is to provide you with the dog you dream of.  We always follow up boarding school with in home visits to acclimate your pup back into your home.

Group Classes-Our Shining Star Basic Obedience Classes are small groups with lots of personal attention from the instructor.  We believe a high teacher/student ratio really increases the amount you and your dog will get out of a group class.  Don’t get lost in a crowd.  Small class sizes make the group class experience much more pleasant for everyone.

Shining Star Puppy Kindergarten-Siobhan has been teaching puppy kindergarten for over 10 years.  There are so many benefits to puppy kindergarten, it is impossible to list them all.  Every puppy should take puppy kindergarten!  In this class we cover all puppy issues and lots of foundation skills.  If you miss puppy kindergarten, your puppy will move through many developmental stages and may miss them or miss the important lessons your puppy should learn during them.  We keep our Puppy K classes small so you have lots of time to ask your instructor questions.
